Life Update and Craziness

Hey All,

So there is so much that has been going on.

First big news is I got a Job. Which is totally awesome. I am enjoying it and feel very blessed that my boss is a person a truly respect and look up to.

Second, Lawn Equipment hates me...
I was mowing front lawn and bent blade of hubby's new lawn mower (so he had to go to Lowe's to get new blade) While he was gone I decided to trim the hedges with the electric hedger (bad idea) what happened next I really can't explain but one minute i was trimming hedges the next I am like " You Got to be Fucking Kidding Me" my finger was caught between the blades of the electric hedge clippers. My hubby was gone so here I am going what am I going to do... Hit the button lose finger or pull it out of the trimmer blades... I pulled it out of the blades and the bleeding started.

How can things go from me rocking it trimming hedges to a complete 180 with my finger nearly cut off in the trimmers. Thankfully My oldest (9) was totally cool ran to neighbors(sitters) to get help, My Bestie came to my rescue (took me to ER), and  kids went to sitters (hubby was still at Lowe's).

On the good note I had just turned 30 couple days before(hedger incident) and got my nails and feet done and low and behold my my manicure wasn't ruined just my finger... Hubby met me and Bestie at ER, 4 stitches later I was ready to go home. Can't really "feel" anything in my finger pad because it just feels like it is asleep and is super duper sensitive. Stitches are now out and i think it is weird that even though it is still healing there is a Purple looking bruise on it. I have to keep it padded and covered for another 2 more weeks to insure it heals completely.

Third ,My Davey is going to 5th grade... I can't believe he is going to be 10 where did the time go.

So between kiddo's, doctor appointments, finger issues, getting a job, I am also finishing up my last three classes and right before Thanksgiving I will have my Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

So I am truly sorry I haven't been posting reviews lately I am working on them, ... I have all my notes written up but i am getting used to a schedule and should be on track again in the next week or so.

Coming up Next Month.

I am attending Lora Leigh's RAW from the 19th to the 22nd of Sept and I am so excited... This is my first time going and I am excited that I get to meet so many awesome authors... Who I love. Hopefully I won't fan girl geek out to bad...

This week i am going to share quotes about one of my favorite couples from  Sherrilyn Kenyon's Darkhunter Series, Talon and Sunshine... I love them as they are soul mates and well you will see how  Sunshine describes why she wants Talon so bad when she is talking to her best friend Selena.

“No!” Renata fought back and forced her consciousness over the wolf’s. Her body’s voice changed and suddenly she wasn’t the voice in the background of her mind. She had control, even if only for a moment. “Peter!”

She ran to the bedroom door and beat on it. He needed to know what her wolf was planning. He needed to protect himself and the girls. This house in Washington, a thousand miles from Vegas, wasn’t going to be enough.

Fiery pain sliced through her temples. She wouldn’t be able to hold her wolf at bay much longer. How had she gotten so strong? The hatred and anger bubbling to the surface was suffocating. Tears streamed down her face as she continued to pound on the locked door.

“Peter, please!”

The door latch clicked and she backed away as it opened. Her husband stepped through, concern on his face, but wariness too.

More tears poured down her cheeks. Her wolf’s black hatred even now was clawing into her consciousness again, slowly shredding the woman she had once been. She’d suppressed the angry voice for so many years. Communication of any kind had ended when Peter Demakis had killed the man who should have been her mate.  Henry Michaels had been a perfect match for them both and she’d loved him, but he’d not survived the hunt. Her wolf’s sanity hadn’t either.

“You have to stop me,” she pleaded.

His face touched hers before she inhaled again.

“You are my mate and my wife.” His fingers clamped around her shoulders like a vice. Not cruel, but strong and safe.

She trembled, her gaze caught by his glowing golden eyes, his wolf was hovering just below the surface. She’d forgiven Peter. He was kind and strong. Over the years she’d learned to love and care for him, but her wolf never did. She was cursed to live with a companion soul that refused to move on—a soul that had grown blacker with each passing year.

My Review

Disclaimer- Gay Erotic Time travel Romance (Don't knock it till you Read one) 

Jack is one cocky jaded stud-muffin, he knows what he wants and isn't ready to find that one he truly needs in his life. Ethan is a sweet hardworking farmer who is hiding his sexuality in a time when the punishment for being gay was death. 

Christian is matchmaker determined to get his cupid wings, even if he has to go though time to connect soul mates... Not to mention he finds it hard to stay strictly business when it comes to Jack.

I loved this book by A.J Kelton there it is full of naughty goodness which is steamy and makes you blush. I loved how Jack and Ethan come together and the teacher does become the student at least in the heart department.  There is also a sneaky little cupid want to be who try as he may can't get over Jack.  I found this book very entertaining and it has a lot going for it. Love to find out more about Christian (even though he does rub me the wrong way a couple of times)
