My Review
This is a quick read... Savannah is left heartbroken when Billy joins the Army. Four years pass and Billy returns injured and still loving Savannah. Savannah has a lot of bitter feelings towards Billy even though she loves him,, Travis is Billy's brother and has been there for Savannah when Billy wasn't.
There is tension between the brothers and it comes to a boil when Billy loses his temper. Billy blames himself for many things and knows that pushing Savannah way all those years ago might have cost him the best thing in his life.
This story has many different aspects that run together pretty seamlessly... the characters are believable and full of emotion. Overall this is a quick read that I would recommend to others.
I rate this book 4 out of 5 genie lamps
