So when the groom, who needs an arm ornament and hostess to further his business connections, proposes a way out, Caroline sees no other option but to take it.

Marriage to him for one year and she will walk away with financial security. But will their marriage last the year?

Or, like his former fiancee’, will she find the need to leave him, too?

My Review

I have to say I enjoyed this book, Caroline and Brandon's marriage is perfect on paper but when feelings become involved will the love they have for each other be enough for will stipulations put in the marriage contract be an end all.

I really liked Caroline she knows what she wants and tries so damn hard to make Brandon happy and get to know the real him. Brandon finds himself falling for Caroline but he tends to be standoffish and even self serving at times. He does have his reasons for being that way.

I felt for Caroline when she made the decision to leave Brandon, I also applauded him when he finally went after her.

The secondary characters are great and added to the story and growth of the characters.

Overall a great quick read which leaves you satisfied.

It will be a wild ride, playing Blair in public, accepting fans' adulation- accepting Erics Kisses, all to feed the tabloid fodder. Used to wild rides, Selena prides herself on keeping her hand in the air and never touching the safety bar. But this one may be the wild ride that makes her need to hold on tight. Giving into temptation will make her world drop out from under her. Will she survive the plunge?

My Review

This book was my first from Connie Cox... I have to say That I did enjoy it and found myself not wanting to put it down. Selena and Eric have tons of Romantic tension which has you wanting to tell them to get over it and be together. Thankfully we have Blair who wants to see her friends happy with each other. Selena is a very loyal and hard working assistant to Blair even working as her body double for fittings, and believes like most of the world does that Eric and Selena are in a relationship. When she find out that Eric and Blair are not together that changes her whole view on Eric's availability. I very much enjoyed this book found it interesting, the characters where well rounded and meshed well together, and it didn't feel rushed and ended they way it should. It was an easy read with a fun feel especially with the dialogue between the characters. Will be reading more of Connie Cox in the future that is for sure.
