Review GAME.SET.MATCH by Jennifer Iacopelli

GAME.SET.MATCH By: Jennifer Iacopelli
Description

Nestled along the North Carolina coast, the Outer Banks Tennis Academy is the world's most elite training facility. In this pressure-cooker environment, futures are forged in blood and sweat, and dreams are shattered in an instant.

Penny Harrison, a rising female star, is determined to win the French Open and beat her archrival, Zina Lutrova. But when her coach imports British bad boy Alex Russell as her new training partner, will Penny be able to keep her laser-like focus?

Tennis is all Jasmine Randazzo has ever known. The daughter of two Grand Slam champions, she's hell-bent on extending her family’s legacy and writing her own happily-ever-after...until her chosen Prince Charming gives her the just-friends speech, right before the biggest junior tournament of the year, the Outer Banks Classic.

With a powerful serve and killer forehand, newcomer Indiana Gaffney is turning heads. She’s thrilled by all of the attention, especially from Jack Harrison, Penny’s agent and hot older brother, except he keeps backing off every time things start heating up.

With so much at stake, dreams—and hearts—are bound to break.

My Review

Never thought that a book about Tennis would make me want to pick up a racket and start training... I live in NC and I really want this OXB Training Academy to be real as If I was 20 years younger and played tennis this is where i would want to go.

GAME.SET.MATCH is a fast paced book which centers around three very talented female tennis players Penny, Jasmine & Indy. Penny is the tennis star, Jasmine trying to live up to her parents, and Indy the new girl. They each have their own issues with guys but the story is mostly about Penny and Alex(tennis's bad boy).

I was drawn to each of the girls and couldn't put the book down i had to know what was going to happen next, between the tennis action, performance jitters, drama (love and tennis drama), and of course budding friendships.

I think that Penny is just wonderful her and Alex are the main focus relationship wise in this book, and you won't be disappointed. You just want Penny to relax and take a chance on Alex, even if he doesn't deserve it.

Jasmine & Indy have their drama but that is because they are both so good and with Jasmine thinking that Indy is out for Ted (her best friend and crush) and her spot as number 1. Enter cat fight, and then punishment in the form of doubles.

When it comes to favorite character I have to say that Indy originally caught my attention in the first couple chapters but I ended up being on Team Jasmine, even though she is kinda snotty at times she seems to have a lot going on then you would think.

GAME.SET.MATCH is the first book by Jennifer Iacopelli and I can't wait to read more. I do have to say that I hope that Jasmine and Indy either have a combined book or their own books because I would love to read more about OBX Tennis Academy

I Rate this book a 5 out of 5
