Review White Wine and Wild Rides By Connie Cox

Description
Wanna be a rock star.... When rollercoster junkie Selena Ramirez agrees to stand in as a body double for rock star Blair, she has no idea rich and gorgeous, boutique vineyard owner Eric Saunders, goes with the job. Eric makes her heart drop harder than any free fall. But Eric has been enthralled by Blair's siren song ever since he first heard her busking for her supper. After years of struggle, Blair finally makes it to the top of the charts but anything could start her numbers toppling down, especially rumors that she can't take the fast pace her record label expects from her. While Blair recovers from exhaustion, Selena agress to take her place to keep the numbers from slipping. When Eric goes along with the deception , Selena knows she must hide her desires for Eric as deeply as she hides her identity from the rest of the world. It will be a wild ride, playing Blair in public, accepting fans' adulation- accepting Erics Kisses, all to feed the tabloid fodder. Used to wild rides, Selena prides herself on keeping her hand in the air and never touching the safety bar. But this one may be the wild ride that makes her need to hold on tight. Giving into temptation will make her world drop out from under her. Will she survive the plunge?

My Review

This book was my first from Connie Cox... I have to say That I did enjoy it and found myself not wanting to put it down. Selena and Eric have tons of Romantic tension which has you wanting to tell them to get over it and be together. Thankfully we have Blair who wants to see her friends happy with each other. Selena is a very loyal and hard working assistant to Blair even working as her body double for fittings, and believes like most of the world does that Eric and Selena are in a relationship. When she find out that Eric and Blair are not together that changes her whole view on Eric's availability. I very much enjoyed this book found it interesting, the characters where well rounded and meshed well together, and it didn't feel rushed and ended they way it should. It was an easy read with a fun feel especially with the dialogue between the characters. Will be reading more of Connie Cox in the future that is for sure.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 Genie Lamps
